Marine Marketers of America hosted its bi-annual General Members Meeting during the Miami International Boat Show. Besides presenting the Neptune Award winner rationale and enjoying a brief business update and networking session, a panel presentation was held featuring three industry digital marketing experts: Gaspare Marturano of FastLane, Courtney Chalmers of Dominion Marine Marketing, and Matt Hickman of Bonnier Corp, moderated by MMA VP Michael Sciulla.

Marine Marketers of America Hosts Miami Program
Marine marketers grappling to fully understand SEO (search engine optimization), SEM (search engine marketing), PPC (pay-per-click), CPC (cost-per-click) and Google Adwords, among other newer digital technologies, will learn how to get underway quickly after attending an MSWSE (Mobile/Social/Web/Search/Email) presentation at the Miami International Boat Show on Thursday, Feb. 13 from 3:30-5 p.m.

Presented by Marine Marketers of America (MMA), the seminar "Practical Digital Marketing Strategies and Techniques for Marine Marketers" will feature two of the marine industry's leading social media experts, Gaspare Marturano and Courtney Chalmers.

Boating Marketers and Writers Get "Below Deck"

Top communications professionals of the marine industry at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in 2013. The event, co-sponsored by Info-Link & FLIBS, was held in October and featured a scoop on emerging reality TV and video platforms. Julie Perry, demonstrated how a low-budget reality show like Bravo's hit Series Below Deck, offer cost-effective media opportunities through integrated websites with full-episode repeats.

Perry also shared digital-media marketing strategies including social media ads through Facebook, and pre-roll video on popular sites like YouTube. As an added plus, Chief Steward Adrienne Gang , one of the stars of Below Deck, was on hand to lend a little celebrity to the event.
